    About me

I am an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department at University of Tehran and my research interest mainly focuses on Computational Mechanics and Numerical Simulation of the problems related to the fields of Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics/Dynamics.

I am really interested to simulate real-world engineering problems using analytical and numerical methodologies. Among various civil engineering subjects, I have found myself very interested in those which deal with the dynamic behavior of the materials and systems, especially the problems related to stress wave propagation. My background and experience in these fields have really helped me to understand the physics behind the problems with highly dynamic nature, and the following quote by Nikola Telsa really inspires me to perform high-quality research within these fields:

"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration"
